It was launched in 2006 under the patronage of the then German Chancellor Angela Merkel and now has over 4,500 signatories. Companies that sign the charter undertake to promote a working culture based on mutual respect, appreciation and equal opportunities. The initiative is committed to ensuring that diversity is recognized as an opportunity and becomes an integral part of corporate policy. <\/p>\n
