What a wonderful end to the year!
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating a wonderful end-of-year party together at Akotherm GmbH at Gut Burghof. In a festive and warm atmosphere, the evening began with mulled wine and punch in the courtyard before the management officially welcomed the numerous employees present and looked back on the past year with words of appreciation.
A moving moment of the evening was the retirement of our dear colleague Hans Weber. After an extraordinary 55 years with the company, we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts – for his decades of loyalty, his tireless commitment and all that he has shaped with his work and personality at Akotherm. As a token of our great appreciation, the management presented him with a certificate and a gift basket.
A very rich and high-quality buffet with excellent service was provided by the Felix Golf Restaurant team. Peter Zwick provided the background music with his guitar and vocals and created a warm, atmospheric accompaniment. The partial support from our managing director Frank Schneider on the piano and cajon was also particularly nice – a contribution that made the evening even more personal.
Another highlight was the hour-long magic show by magician Heinz: he wowed the audience with fascinating dice, card and magic dice tricks. He mysteriously made wedding rings disappear and reappear just as surprisingly. He always actively involved the guests in his tricks. Many of his colleagues were not just spectators, but part of the show, joining in the magic and bending spoons themselves under his guidance. This created a palpably captivating, magical atmosphere that made this part of the program equally enchanting for everyone present.
Overall, the end-of-year party was a very enjoyable evening with an excellent atmosphere. The high level of participation from the workforce underlines the strong team spirit and good cooperation within Akotherm GmbH. A big thank you to the management and the organizers for planning and holding this successful end-of-year event.
