AKOTHERM presents multifunctional system technology and barrier-free solutions
a
At the 2026 real estate trade fair in Koblenz, AKOTHERM presented itself as a competent partner for modern, future-proof aluminum profile systems. Our trade fair presence focused on multifunctional system technology, which is characterized by adaptability, efficiency and future-proofing.
Multifunctional, flexible and economical
Our aluminum profile systems impress with their wide range of variants and combinability. Architectural design, individual design wishes and technical requirements can be flexibly realized – from private residential buildings to complex commercial solutions.
Thanks to their modular design, sustainable materials and innovative technologies, our systems already meet future energy and environmental standards. At the same time, the high level of system compatibility enables efficient planning and economical implementation of construction projects.
Accessibility brought to life
A particular focus of our trade fair presence was barrier-free construction – and this topic was made tangible at our stand. Visitors were able to test for themselves how challenging it can be to overcome thresholds of different heights with a rollator.
Many clients and architects were surprised at the difference that just a few millimetres can make. The practical demonstration made it impressively clear that accessibility is not a theoretical planning issue, but starts with the details.
For AKOTHERM, accessibility is not an add-on, but an integral part of contemporary architecture. Zero thresholds, generous opening widths and convenient operating concepts increase the comfort of living and use for all generations – and sustainably increase the value of a property.
Technically sophisticated system solutions
With tested magnetic thresholds and barrier-free lift and slide systems, AKOTHERM offers solutions for completely threshold-free transitions – without compromising on safety, tightness or durability.
Even with minimal or completely threshold-free constructions, our systems meet the highest technical requirements: tested driving rain tightness, very good thermal insulation values up to passive house level as well as optional functions such as burglar resistance, sound insulation or motorized operation.
Discussions with numerous building owners and architects clearly showed that holistic, barrier-free system solutions are increasingly being taken into account in the early planning phases.
Conclusion
The Koblenz 2026 real estate trade fair was a successful industry event for AKOTHERM. The strong response, particularly from building owners and architects, confirms the relevance of our multifunctional and barrier-free system technology.
We are looking forward to further expanding the contacts we have made and realizing sustainable construction projects together.
