CHANGEOVER TO TIGER DRYLAC® FLEXCURE SERIES 18 MATT

Dear customers,
We would like to inform you that our powder supplier TIGER Coatings is gradually changing its range of matt
powder coatings. The previously used matt colors of series 29 will be gradually replaced by the new FlexCURE series 18 according to
.
The new series offers the following technical advantages:
– Energy efficiency:
The possibility of curing at lower temperatures contributes to the reduction of energy consumption
and CO2 emissions.
– Flexible curing window:
Series 18 powder coatings can be processed at different temperatures, which is particularly
advantageous for components with varying material thicknesses.
– Compatibility with Series 29:
Series 18 and 29 powders can be processed together without hesitation. The color shade and
optical properties remain identical, so there are no visible
differences in mixed applications.
As the changeover will take place gradually, color by color, over a longer period of time, we will indicate the color numbers for the transition period in our documents
as “(29) 18/73570”. The numbers for
identification of the color shades (here 73570) for Series 18 will remain identical to those for Series 29.
After the complete changeover, only Series 18 will be available for matt surfaces.
