For AKOTHERM, sustainability means more than just acting in an environmentally conscious manner – it also includes responsibility towards our employees, our society and our business partners.

And by recognizing the model of the honourable businessman, we are committed to the highest ethical standards, sustainable business practices and responsibility towards society.

Three awards – one common goal: living responsibility.

The Diversity Charter“ is a corporate initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions. It was launched in 2006 under the patronage of the then German Chancellor Angela Merkel and now has over 4,500 signatories. Companies that sign the charter undertake to promote a working culture based on mutual respect, appreciation and equal opportunities. The initiative is committed to ensuring that diversity is recognized as an opportunity and becomes an integral part of corporate policy.

On 26.08.2024 Akotherm GmbH has signed the Diversity Charter“ and thus officially committed itself to a working environment characterized by diversity and appreciation.

Akotherm was honored as a „family-friendly company“. A wide variety of aspects played an important role in this competition. These included the orientation of working conditions and corporate culture towards the compatibility of family and career for employees. The levers and instruments that we at Akotherm use to counteract the shortage of skilled workers and to inspire them for our company through modern means of communication were also important.

AKOTHERM GmbH, like other companies in the Koblenz Chamber of Industry and Commerce district, is committed to the model of the honorable merchant and thus to high ethical principles, a sense of responsibility and long-term, sustainable action in a macroeconomic context.

AKOTHERM GmbH’s compliance with these principles is underlined by the award of the „Model of the Honorable Businessman“ certificate by the Koblenz Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
