From 13 to 17 January, Akotherm GmbH will be presenting its highlights at BAU in Munich with a new trade fair concept.

Look forward to what is probably the ‘best’ lift and slide system in aluminium currently available on the German market. With the lift and slide door
‘AT 850 HS’, we are demonstrating what both the industry and clients are currently focussing on: In addition to the best thermal insulation values, the system impresses with narrow face widths, barrier-free transitions and large opening widths that virtually extend the living area to the outside. Despite high sash weights of up to 400 kilograms, the door elements can be slid easily and almost silently.

Another highlight among the sliding systems will be the ‘AT 840’ sliding window, which was launched in the project business in 2022 with an external sash. The innovative hardware solution guarantees the best tightness values. The sash is removed from the frame and then moved parallel to the frame. The sash is also very convenient and easy to handle. It does not have to be placed on the rollers first, as is usually the case with a lift and slide system. With the AT 840, the logical further development, namely the inward-running sash, has now also taken a further step towards market maturity.

Accessibility – a buzzword that clients have associated with high living comfort and generous room layouts for several years now. For planners, we now have a completely threshold-free transition for turn/tilt windows in our portfolio with the AT 740 SI, AT 790 SI and AT 575 systems. Coupled with a new approach to sash size optimisation, this ‘two-in-one solution’ now enables even the smallest sashes with a height of up to 2700 mm.

All good things come in threes, but four is better. And that is why we are once again presenting the optimised fire protection door from the AT 740 FR system.

This time coupled with an all-glass construction. An extremely attractive application option.

The fire protection solution, which has already been very successfully launched on the market, is constantly being further developed and the tests for this are being supplemented accordingly. The fire protection system solution shows its decisive advantages particularly in production.
